Activists of the Student’s Federation of India (SFI) are forcibly arrested after police lathi-charged thousands of students protesting in Hyderabad, 13 December 2006. The activists, who protested and blocked the traffic for more than three hours, demanded that the government release the funds for pending scholarships for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes.
